  I have realized that in cameras, extraordinary devices help to maintain focus
  automatically. Those sensors of some video cameras
  change in contrast, while others work with a beam with infra-red (IR) light,
  especially in low lumination. Higher standards cameras often use a mixture of both devices and might have Face
  Priority AF where the digital camera can 'See' your face while keeping your focus only in that.
